The ambitious scheme of the Jharkhand government, Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, is being run with the aim of empowering women economically. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 2,500 per month is provided to economically weaker women between the ages of 18 and 50 years.

April and May installments together: The state government has announced that the two-month amount of April and May 2025, ₹5,000, will be transferred together to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries by May 15, 2025.

Verification and Aadhaar linking mandatory: Beneficiaries who have not linked their bank account with Aadhaar by March 31, 2025 or whose documents are not available will not get the benefit of this scheme. During the verification process, complaints were
received in many cases of money of many beneficiaries going into the same account, due to which the government has started investigation through door-to-door verification and camps.

Action for pending payment: Beneficiaries who have not received the amount yet are advised to check the status of their application by visiting their nearest Jan Seva Kendra or contact the Maiyaan Samman Yojana helpline number 1800-890-0215. Apart from this, it is necessary to check and correct all the required documents

Female permanent resident of Jharkhand
Age between 18 to 50 years
Family’s annual income less than ₹2.5 lakh
Should not be in a government job
Bank account should be linked to Aadhaar
