No one in Bollywood will work with Ranbir Kapoor.

For the first time ever, a superstar was boycotted by the entire industry—and that too, the very actor who, just a few months earlier, had earned 3,000 crores from the blockbuster film *Dhurandhar*. But today, the industry has declared that no one will work with Ranbir Kapoor. Now you must be wondering how such a huge star—and such a massive industry—turned against Ranbir Kapoor.
Look, the matter at hand concerns the film *Don 3*. Ranbir has signed on with Farhan Akhtar, and work on the film has subsequently commenced; this involves the engagement of over two dozen crew members, as well as hotel and international travel bookings. And Ranveer flatly stated, “I don’t like the film.” Three months ago, he turned it down, saying, “I won’t do this movie.” Now, you think about it and tell me.
Let me give you an example. Imagine you are organizing a wedding: the food has been prepared, the band is ready, and the marquee has been set up in your courtyard—in short, a significant amount of money has already been spent, and preparations are well underway—only for Ranbir Kapoor to turn you down. And imagine if a bride and groom—just like us—were all dressed up and ready, only for the groom to suddenly lose interest; tell me, what would you go through in such a situation? The filmmakers state that 40 crore rupees have already been spent on this project.
And 200 workers were working there—such as drivers, makeup artists, beauty and lighting technicians, spot boys, and others. For them, this was their bread and butter. Consequently, they lodged a complaint with FWICE. Mind you, this is no minor union; it comprises 32 affiliated unions and boasts a membership of over 500,000. The union summoned Ranveer three times, but he failed to respond; as a result, the union imposed a ban on him.
Now, Ranbir Kapoor has offered a clarification, stating that he remained silent—and did so because there was an advantage in staying quiet. And then the union replied, “The children have grown up and gone astray, and now they must be brought back onto the right path.” And Ranveer said, “I haven’t received the full advance, nor was I shown the complete details regarding the internet musical and such.” Look, it’s possible that it wasn’t entirely Ranveer’s fault. He wasn’t serious about the film.
And yes, increasing one’s strength does not merely mean becoming independent; it means providing support to others. Moving forward entails shouldering responsibility. He who grasps this concept goes very far; conversely, he who fails to understand it is dragged down to the very depths when the weight of responsibility eventually falls upon him. That is the true meaning of Nishant.
Ranbir Kapoor has not yet issued any comment regarding the opinions currently being expressed by his fans on this matter. It is currently impossible to predict whether or not Ranbir Kapoor will secure future work. However, we will continue to monitor the situation to see how long this backlash persists. As soon as any further updates emerge, we will share them with you; so please make sure to follow and like us.
