Operational Lines (August 2025)
Purple Line
- Route: Baiyyappanahalli ↔ Challaghatta
- Length: ~43 km
- Highlights: Connects key commercial and residential areas, including Majestic (Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna station) – the main interchange hub with the Green Line
Green Line
- Route: Madavara ↔ Silk Institute
- Length: ~30 km
- Highlights: Runs north–south, connecting central Bengaluru with industrial zones and suburbs.
Yellow Line (New – August 2025)
- Route: RV Road ↔ Bommasandra
- Length: ~19 km, 16 stations
- Highlights: Eases travel to Electronic City and connects with the Green Line at RV Road and the Pink Line at Jayadeva Hospital. A major boost for IT professionals
Under-Construction Lines
Pink Line
- Route: Kalena Agrahara ↔ Nagawara
- Length: ~21 km, 18 stations
- Status: Expected operational by 2026–27. Will connect South Bengaluru to the IT and commercial hubs of North Bengaluru.
Blue Line
- Route: Central Silk Board ↔ Kempegowda International Airport
- Length: ~58 km
- Status: Expected completion by 2026. A direct airport link, ending long travel times from the city.
