
The Directorate of Education (DOE) of the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, commonly known as “EduDel“, oversees government school education in Delhi. It manages one of the largest school systems in India, comprising over 5,600 schools and serving over 1.6 million students.

Today, on March 5, 2025, the Education Department conducted the first computerised draw for admissions under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) categories for the 2025-26
academic session. Out of around 2.5 lakh applications received, 38,000 students have been selected for admission through this transparent process.

- Visit the official Edudel website
- Navigate to the “EWS/DG Admissions and EWS/Freeship Admissions” section
- Click on the link for “EWS/DG/CWSN Draw Result 2025-26.
- Enter the required details, such as the application number or registered credentials
- The allotment status will appear on the screen

Selected candidates must complete the admission process by submitting the required documents including proof of income, residence and age to the allotted school within the stipulated time limit. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of admission.
