According to reports, the CBSE Class 10 board exams 2026 are expected to start from 17 February 2026 and continue till 9 March 2026
The second session for Class 10 students is planned between 15 May to 1 June 2026, allowing more flexibility for subjects or schools conducting practicals and compartment exams. Exam Timings: Start at 10:30 AM and finish by 1:30 PM.
CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2026
For Class 12, the CBSE has announced tentative exam dates from 17 February 2026 to 4 April 2026.
Science, Commerce, and Arts stream students will appear according to their subject combinations.
Expected Major Subject Dates (Tentative):
- English Core: Mid-February
- Mathematics: Late February
- Physics Accountancy Political Science: Early March
- Chemistry Economics History: Mid-March
- Biology Business Studies Sociology: Late March

Exam Format and Guidelines
The exams will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode
