Vietnamese automaker VinFast has officially entered the Indian market, and one of its most talked-about models is the VF6, a compact electric SUV that blends futuristic design, advanced technology, and impressive affordability. Launched on September 6, 2025, the VF6 has quickly caught attention for its bold looks and feature-rich package, making it a strong competitor to upcoming EVs like the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv.ev, and MG ZS EV.

Sleek Coupe-SUV Design

The VinFast VF6 is designed with a modern coupe-SUV silhouette, complete with a sloping roofline, a signature V-shaped front fascia, stylish LED eyebrow DRLs, and connected tail lights. Compact yet striking, it measures 4,241 mm in length, 1,834 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height with a 2,730 mm wheelbase, giving it a well-balanced urban stance

The VF6 will be locally assembled at VinFast’s new plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, which has an initial capacity of 50,000 units annually, scalable up to 150,000 units. Alongside this, VinFast has built a support network of 35 dealerships and 26 service centers across 27 cities, ensuring strong after-sales backing. The company has also partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, Global Assure, and BatX Energies for charging infrastructure, roadside assistance, and battery recycling.
