  • On the first day, devotees bring clay idols of Lord Ganesha to their homes or public pandals with great devotion. The idol is installed during an auspicious muhurat with Vedic chants and prayers

Daily Puja & Offerings:

  • Devotees offer flowers, durva grass, modaks (Lord Ganesha’s favorite sweet), coconut, and fruits. Special aarti and bhajans are performed morning and evening.

  • Cities like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai witness grand pandals, cultural performances, devotional music, and social gatherings. The famous Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai attracts millions of devotees every year

Ganesh Visarjan:

  • On the last day, idols are taken in grand processions with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and immersed in rivers, lakes, or the sea, symbolizing Lord Ganesha’s return to Kailash
